About Me

My name is Laura Lansley. 
First of all I am a busy Mum of two wonderful children.  My background has been varied, but includes training in dance, nutrition and I am a level 3 fitness coach.  These days I split my time between working with people to achieve their fitness goals and running a number of fitness classes including BalletBeats, my own dance/ballet inspired barre program.
Like many women, I have fought my own battles with food, been a member of many different gyms and classes and have struggled with most types of diet program at one stage or another.  For me, something was missing, something I couldn’t put my finger on, but which kept me searching for a solution that worked.  In hindsight, this was a journey of self-discovery of how my emotions and my mind worked and ultimately how to make lasting change with respect to fitness, health and self-confidence.  With these goals in mind, I distilled what I learned into a set of principles that I have been able to share with people to help them achieve what I now know they can.

The Strong & Happy Plan

The Strong and Happy Plan is where I found my passion. I decided to make it my mission to help as many women as I can, by teaching them how to eat and exercise well and begin to love what they see in the mirror. You may have tried everything from weighing your food and counting calories to depriving yourself of certain foods and/or consuming only shakes!

I am here to tell you there is a much better way to live, be stronger and happier and get the results you so crave. Yes it will be tough at times, as anything worth having is hard work, but you will love the results and feel a huge sense of achievement along with creating great habits that will hopefully stay with you in life.
