Grief Walks ‘Ray of Sunshine’

I am organising my very first grief walk on Monday 25th March 2024 at 10 am meeting near The Saltwater Cafe on the promenade along Chalkwell Beach in Essex. The walk is called ‘Ray of Sunshine’ in memory of my uncle Raymond Caton.

I lost two very special uncles just before Christmas in the space of 8 weeks and it’s hit me and those around me very hard. Since then, friends have lost people dear to them too. Grief is not the same for any two people, it’s such a personal thing and so I just wanted to do something where people could come together to walk, talk, or just listen. Knowing that sadly everyone will have to go through this at some stage in their life may just be a comfort to them.
