Tips on Running

It all begins with a goal. Maybe you want to run 5k twice a week. Maybe you want to train for a marathon eventually. Or maybe you just want to prove to yourself that you can do it or just be a little fitter to run after your kids or grandkids. Whatever your reason it is good to have a goal or an event booked to motivate you to the finish line.

I couldn't run for 5 minutes 6 months ago. I remember watching the marathon runners on TV in April and thought if they could do it, so could I. Over the last few months, I have been trying to conquer the mental challenges that come with running. It has been a gradual process, but I feel like I am gradually succeeding. The key is to simply start and not worry about how you appear to others. Everyone is too busy going about their business.
